Purpose: This data enables core app functionality for tracking your work hours and calculating earnings. It is stored exclusively on your device and never transmitted to us or any third parties.

App Settings (Stored Locally Only)

  • Overtime thresholds
  • Pay rate configurations
  • Display preferences

Purpose: These preferences are stored only on your device to personalize your experience. No settings data is ever sent to external servers.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Clock Out does not collect or have access to:

  • Personal identification information
  • Location data
  • Employer information
  • Bank or payment information
  • Usage analytics
  • Advertising identifiers

Data Sharing

  • We do not share any data with third parties.
  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services.
  • CSV exports are generated locally and shared only by your action.

Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device. We do not retain any data on external servers. You can delete all data through the app's Settings, or uninstall the app to remove all app-related data.

Data Security

Since all data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us, your information is protected by your device's built-in security features including encryption and biometric locks.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Export all your data as CSV through Settings
  • Delete all app data through Settings
  • Remove all data by uninstalling the app

Children's Privacy

Clock Out is designed for adult workers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app and updating the effective date.
